Amy Goering

BIOGRAPHY

Many of Amy’s paintings are inspired through personal memories and experiences of her midwestern heritage. Amy’s upbringing on the family farm, with many siblings, instilled lessons of hard work, a determined spirit, and an appreciation for the simple pleasures. As a result, many of Amy’s paintings capture a narrative quality; depicting the bond of family ties, the mysterious beauty of a neglected barn, or the romance of the western landscape.

Amy pursued her education in art at Pensacola Christian College, where she received both her bachelors and Masters degree in Fine Art. She was privileged to study under the instruction of artist Brian Jekel.

Amy lives in Kansas, where she captures the beauty of the midwest and God’s creation in paint.

“Art is an avenue in which I can communicate with people I may never even meet. It is my desire to communicate the beauty of God’s creation and reflect the precious moments He gives us here on this earth.”—Amy Goering
